  here is a scripture that explains just that.. john 5:39-40.

  39you are searching the scriptures, because you think that by means of them you will have everlasting life; and these are the very ones that bear witness about me.. 40and yet you do not want to come to me that you may have life.. jesus clearly explains that it is not through the scriptures that we have everlasting life.

  Everlasting life is achieved by genetic replication of you deoxyribonucleic acid. Have kids and encourage them to have kids.

  When is a fade finished?

  so i was thinking - if i don't da myself and they don't df me, am i doomed forever to this limbo called "fade?

  I will respond to your inquiries as the voice of experience, having completed a successful fade.

  If I don't DA myself and they don't DF me, am I doomed forever to this limbo called "fade?

  In my opinion the fade is a temporary state. One in which the fader is allowed to sit back and reflect upon who they are. Once you discover your true identity and are able to realize that the WTBS cannot control you, your fade is officially over. It's all about breaking the chains and abandoning the fear.

  When do I stop worrying about "what if they find out?

  This is a difficult question to answer as I do not know you or your personality. Everyone is different and what takes years for some may take weeks for others. Support and understanding from others certainly helps. It's also more difficult when you have family still under the influence of the WTBS.

  When will they (if they saw me) just think of me as someone they knew, rather than "one of their flock" - even when they know I'm inactive?

  Never, as long as that particular individual that "sees you" is still a member.

  It's been 2 years since we were at a meeting, that's 2 missed memorials, no conventions or assemblies, no CO visit attendances, etc. When will I stop being inactive and become GONE to them?

  You will only be gone to an active JDub when they realize that there is no chance of you ever returning to the WTBS. In their eyes you have turned your back on Jehovah, therefore you are "gone" and not someone they would give the time of day to.

  they're just simple ones with a short verse about happiness during the season and signed by me.

  When I can manage to pause during this busy season and remember to send cards to associates and family, I do send them to my JDub relatives. Which isn't a whole lot.

  In the form of physical existence on a paradise planet, yes. In the form of energy, light or spirit, no. Hope this helps.

  there were mother's with babies, there were those suffering from vericose veins that had to stand up.

  what about the rest of us?

  in my cong there were only a few "gifted ones" who'd do sound and it was behind the literature counter (our hall was tiny).

  i think that true love is only found through jehovah.

  i have had relationships in the world and they have never worked out.

  but i will be searching for true love with a woman that also loves jehovah.

  Here's to you being a free thinker on the internet! And here's to you finding your true love! Seriously though, if you find half the woman that I married you'll be in fantastic shape. My wife (and through her, my children) are my reason for living. It doesn't get any better for me.
